This Wednesday in Portland the Oregon Entrepreneur’s Network and Drive Oregon are teaming up together for a special event! The theme of the event is highlighting entrepreneurship in the electric vehicle space in Oregon and highlighting the companies that have already made amazing innovations in the space. The guest speakers include Craig Bramscher, the CEO and founder of Brammo, Inc. Brammo is a revolutionary electric motorycycle company based in Ashland, Oregon and is the creator of motorcycles like the Empulse (video of the Empulse on ‘Jay Leno’s Garage‘) and the Enertia. Another guest speaker is Mark Frohnmayer, the President and Founder of Arcimoto. Arcimoto builds three-wheeled electric cars designed for urban commuting. The cars are built in Eugene, Oregon. The third presenter at the event will be Dexter Turner, the President and CEO of OpConnect, a company that builds electric vehicle charging technology, based in Portland, Oregon.  Tesla Trips will also have a representative there, along with a new green Tesla Motors Model S parked outside. Our representative is there to personally answer any questions you may have about the Model S, as well as provide demos.

This new partnership between OEN and Drive Oregon looks like it will also lead to more future collaborative efforts, especially with the recently announced ‘Start up & Drive‘ offer. Start Up & Drive allows a company to join both organizations for a year for only $300- a very nice bargain, especially for any startups in the EV industry.
